Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ small onion, chopped (about ½ cup)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
15 oz white cannellini beans, rinsed (1 can)
2 tablespoons Armanino Basil Pesto
4 slices toasted sourdough or country white bread
Directions
Heat oil in skillet on medium heat. Add onions; sauté 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute. Stir in beans; cook until heated through. Remove from heat.
Stir in pesto and serve on toast.
