Everyone loves the blending of sweet and sour flavors, and this meatball dish does so with just a handful of (surprising) ingredients. Serve on skewers for your next party.
Ingredients
1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 lbs Armanino Gourmet Beef Meatballs (1 package)
Directions
Mix all ingredients, except meatballs, in slow cooker until blended.
Add frozen meatballs; stir until coated.
Cook on high 2½ to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Switch to warm setting to hold for up to 4 hours.
Chef’s Tips
For a kick of spice, add 2 chopped canned chipotle chile peppers.
Enjoy these easy appetizers as-is, or create meatball sliders by filling dinner rolls with 2 or 3 meatballs, prepared coleslaw, and a small slice of Swiss cheese.
