Mushroom Burger with Garlic Sauce


Mushroom Burger Patties
  •  2 cups finely chopped fresh mushrooms
  •  2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  •  ½ cup dry breadcrumbs
  •  ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  •  ½ cup finely chopped onion
  •  ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  •  ½ teaspoon salt
  •  ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  •  1 tablespoon olive oil
  •  4 teaspoons dry parsley
  •  6 teaspoons Armanino Creamy Garlic Sauce
For the Burger
  •  burger buns
  •  slices tomatoes
  •  sliced pickles
  •  lettuce or other mixed greens
  •  provolone cheese (or any other cheese you like)
  •  equal parts garlic sauce and mayonnaise for the burger sauce


  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for mushroom patties, mix well until combined.
  2. Shape into four ¾-inch-thick patties.⁣
  3. In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add patties; cook until crisp and lightly browned, 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Mix the garlic sauce with mayonnaise. Spread over the burger buns and start assembling the burger with the rest of the ingredients.
