Mushroom Burger with Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
Mushroom Burger Patties
2 cups finely chopped fresh mushrooms
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup dry breadcrumbs
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 teaspoons dry parsley
6 teaspoons
Armanino Creamy Garlic Sauce
For the Burger
burger buns
slices tomatoes
sliced pickles
lettuce or other mixed greens
provolone cheese (or any other cheese you like)
equal parts garlic sauce and mayonnaise for the burger sauce
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for mushroom patties, mix well until combined.
Shape into four ¾-inch-thick patties.
In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add patties; cook until crisp and lightly browned, 3-4 minutes on each side.
Mix the garlic sauce with mayonnaise. Spread over the burger buns and start assembling the burger with the rest of the ingredients.
