Buffalo Beer Cheese Meatballs

Pop our Gourmet Meatballs in the slow cooker along with just six other ingredients, and a few hours later you have a deliciously decadent game-day snack. Just push “START.”

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Armanino Gourmet Beef Meatballs (1 package)
  • 1 lb pasteurized processed American cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 12 oz beer
  • ½ cup Buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

Directions

  1. Place meatballs in slow cooker. Cut cheese into small pieces. Add to slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Stir gently.
  2. Cook on high 2 ½ to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Switch to warm setting to hold for up to 4 hours. Sauce will thicken as it cools down.

  • Drizzle with blue cheese dressing or chopped green onions before serving, if desired.
  • Any style of beer may be used in this tasty game-day appetizer. Choose a pale ale or craft brew for more robust flavor.
