Armanino Foods of Distinction
Pasta and Pesto Products Now Available in More Than
1,000 Albertson’s Supermarkets
On the West Coast
HAYWARD
, Ca., May 11th ---- Shoppers in eight Western states can now pick up their
favorite
Armanino Foods
of Distinction Italian delicacies in more than a thousand Albertson’s
supermarkets.
“Until now,” said William Armanino, president of the food company, “a main
thrust of our distribution has been through food service outlets.
This is an important step in marketing to the consumer.”
The company’s frozen four cheese ravioli, beef ravioli, tri-colored tortellini
and cheese tortellini are now in freezer cases in Albertson’s supermarkets
throughout California, in Oregon, the state of Washington, Idaho, Colorado,
Utah, Arizona and Nevada — virtually the entire Western U.S. — Mr. Armanino
said, while in addition the company’s pesto products are available throughout
California.
“In taking this step.” Mr. Armanino said, “we have re-designed our
packaging to be more appealing to the consumer.
While we cannot yet measure consumer response to our products, this will
significantly increase our retail store distribution channel.
Because we have extra production capacity, we have been able to take this
step without incurring any new capital costs.”
Armanino Foods
is listed under the stock symbol AMNF.PK.
