Increases Quarterly Dividend by 25%
HAYWARD, Ca. — March 30th, 2006 ---
Armanino Foods
of Distinction announced today that its directors have increased the quarterly
dividend by 25% compared with the same period last year, from a penny per share
to 1.25 cents.
The dividend will be paid on or about
April 28th, 2006
to shareholders of record on
April 12th, 2006
.
During 2005, Armanino shares were split 5-to-1.
This means that on an “apples to apples” basis, the newly declared
dividend would be equivalent to 6.25 cents versus 5 cents in the same quarter of
2005.
“We
had a great year in 2005,” said William Armanino, the company’s chairman and
CEO, “We’re on a fast track so far this year.
We wanted to share our increases with our shareholders, and so we have
enriched our dividend payout.”
Armanino is an international food company that manufactures and markets frozen
basil pesto sauce and numerous other sauces such as Cilantro, Dried Tomato
Garlic, Roasted Red Bell Pepper, Southwest Chipotle, Artichoke, Mushroom,
Alfredo, organic sauces, filled pasta
products, meatballs, cooked poultry products, garlic spreads and Focaccia to the
food service, industrial, institutional industry.
